Launched in 2024, the Pacific Coast Ocean Restoration (PCOR) Initiative is focused on increasing the pace and scale of marine restoration. Currently, PCOR is working to recover three key marine habitats and species: bull kelp, sunflower sea stars and white abalone, while also launching an innovative workforce development program here in Fort Bragg at the Mendocino Coast Center.
